If you've ran out of places to go to, come to Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, Ukraine.
This is likely the signature sculpture of the place. Nice.
Lady and a child:
This one with the stars and all... In loving memory of EU?
What's the meaning of this installment? Don't ask me... I know, I'd make a great guide!
Ok, this is probably some noble good person who cared about children, but this monument is... well.. a little funny and awkward, sort of reminding you of Catholic child molesters scandal...
Another weird statue is this lady with erect nipples. Really? On a cemetery?
These ones are all right:
There were several of them, one was grieving over this poor Piotr guy:
As far as I can get Polish, a woman named Francesca was burried there in 1806
First time in my life I saw family graves:
This one was probably the oldest grave we've come across, although evidently the plate has been replaced recently:
Possibly the creepiest grave stone was this one:

Do you like going to museums and historic sites? I sometimes do, but am not fanatical about it. Crowds of people usually put me off and I'm like 'meh, I'll look it up on the net, when I'm comfortable')))) It's sort of nice we don't go around thiking of our mortality all the time, eh? |

Privyet,
I like going to museums and historical sites but I don't take advantage of them enough. I live in Washington D.C. and I've never been inside the White House, although I've been in front of it many times Most of the museums I haven't been to since I was a kid. |

Hhmm...are you sure that this statue with the niples is a she? Looks more like a transvestite to me, probably also transgender… Maybe the sculptor wanted to make a statement against the prevailing lack of diversity on graveyards! No sign of the gender identity nor sexual orientation on the graves of the deceased...as if the patriarchal church wants to intentionally hide this important issues! And this gravestones .. they look very masculine to me! Aargh, that just makes me sick. It's time to do something against this scandalous state of affairs. Clearly, its time for a diversity on graveyards’ -movement..

This was funny. |
It made me feel bad for them but grateful that I won't die young in a war (hopefully) and also aware of my own mortality.
