Bought these Skechers the other day. Btw, they cost $70 here in the Intertop store on Khreschatik.
Hey! A woman gotta write at least one post on shoes! Even a weird one like myself))
My drama is I have to buy the shoes I don't really like because I just need some footwear.
Shoes in my world fall into different categories: those that I can endure wearing for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour or more than an hour (extremely rare case). This concerns shoes of all prices.
I can remember a few shoes in my life that fit me almost perfectly. The rest of them was a nightmare. The cute black leather sneakers I bought last year - even those aren't ensuring my feets' rest.
So I tested out these seemingly comfortable Skechers yesterday, and I think they are going to be endurable for an hour or so (with band aids, of course).
The problem with my foot is that it is too thin (I wish I was talking about my waist now ) for its size, and also, my toe is slightly bent up. That's why it is hard for me to find anything - not mentioning something I truly love - to wear. I spend hours trying on different models in different sizes, and hopefully I find one or two pairs that fit more or less. I often end up buying shoes that feel a bit loose, because the alternative is something too tight, something completely impossible to walk in.
So anyway, if you happen to be a sexy, creative, atheist shoemaker ... find my contacts in the bottom of the page)))
Update. 13.04.2011 Apparently, I also have a "high instep." A consultant told me today as I was trying on their shoes.
Bought one pair. High heels. I think they're gonna be wearable for at least 30 minutes.

One piece of advice, stay out of heels. They are bad for your calf muscle, spine, and feet. Stopping now may save them. Older women with ruined feet are not sexy...

Oh I hardly wear heels. Only when I can lean on a nice strong man beside me ;) Or when I go by taxi to some pub or restaurant. |
