Yeah, Sartre. I haven't read his books but I've read some quotes and pieces here and there. Some I found very agreeable some - not so much. Well, just like with most everybody else :D |

06-06-2013 You are the only woman I've ever encountered who's a pessimist.Life would be much more bearable if I could simply meet a plain-looking (you're practically another species compared to me) to share my life without the need for the sham-personality of confident optimism. It's quite comforting to know that at least there's one woman exists who thinks this way. I won't settle into eternal bachelorhood just yet. |

There are at least several more pessimist women in Antinatalist/Efilist groups on Facebook. |

15-07-2013 "The reason I don't allow myself to fall into a deep depression is simply that - I don't allow myself, and so far it has been working. I've told myself this a long time ago: as long as I (for whatever reason) decide to stick around and go on living, I will do whatever it takes to not be completely miserable, as long as I can resist it I will because it does no good to anybody and hurts me even more."Thank you for writing and for putting into better words than I all that I have felt for so long. I am also willing to do whatever it takes, only I don't have very many feasible options to explore, so I deal with what I have. I work in the service industry, and some days are much worse than others. I see everything about myself reflected back at me through your blog, and, again, I thank you. So very much. |

Thank you for leaving a comment, Emily! So nice to know some people enjoy this blog :) Servicing people sucks. Unless you're doing it as a charity and always free to stop.I mean, if murder was legal working in service industry could be all right I try to limit my interactions with people as much as possible. Still haven't published my phone on my jewelry site haha. It'd probably increase sales but...damn, I enjoy silence and quiet so much! So I choose less money. I wish everybody was able to do that. |
