24-02-2012 I really appreciate your compassionate approach to food and that you do not eat meat. I found your video when I was looking at videos from Eco-Vegan Gal facebook.com/ecovegangal. I have adopted an animal-free diet and feel its one of the most important things we can do for the animals, our health, and our planet. Its wonderful to see thoughtful and intelligent women who are beautiful inside and out, like yourself. I just wanted to share my respect with you. |

Thanks for your kind words, Dawn! I also feel respect for those who find the strenght to give up some pleasure and convenience to diminish the amount of suffering in the animal world. Oh wait, not only animal. It hurts a lot of empathetic people to know of all those animal torture chambers. So it thus mitigates the suffering of people too.

18-07-2012 Hi Irina, looks like this blog is missing the link to your video. Would like to watch it though. Hope it is as good as the talk held by Gary Yourofsky on YouTube. |

My video is embeded into this page. There are 2: one is mine, the other - featuring Singer and Dawkins. I only concentrated on dismissing one argument for meat-eating in my video. Probably shouldn't have, its better to cover several popular arguments in one, otherwise the viewers keep throwing those that weren't mentioned in the comments. |

21-11-2012 "The unpardonable forgetfulness in which the lower animals have hitherto been left by the moralists of Europe is well known. It is pretended that the beasts have no rights. They persuade themselves that our conduct in regard to them has nothing to do with morals or (to speak the language of their morality), that we have no duties towards animals; a doctrine revolting, gross, and barbarous."I know of no more beautiful prayer than that which the Hindus of old used in closing their public spectacles. It was : 'May all that have life be delivered from suffering!' " -Arthur Schopenhauer |

17-01-2013 Hi! I found your youtube channel yesterday and I loved every single video and I agree with everything you said I was so glad to find out that you are vegetarian and I was 99% sure you would be even before I found this video! You rock! |
18-01-2013 Yep Anna, logical thinkers (like yourself and I.) rock... there aren't so many, are there? ::wink.gif:: |
18-01-2013 Yes Zenner... sometimes I'm really ashamed to be human... Especially when it comes to non-human animal exploitation. I try not to think about all the suffering because it is overwhelming at times.Being a logical thinker can be very isolating so I'm very thankful for the internet |
19-01-2013 Dangerously overwhelming, yes... just don't think too hard, okay? There are many other things we humans can do......and you needn't feel you're abandoning your fair pursuits for taking a break. On the contrary, that's just survival strategy to serve them better! |
19-01-2013 I will try not to think too much. I'll just do my part by being vegan, but I won't have discussions about it with others because it's extremely irritating how uneducated, self serving and heartless most people are. Are you vegetarian/vegan Zenner? |
20-01-2013 sort of vegetarian, aspiring veganGood idea not talking to assholes... unpleasant, tiring and pointless. One needs to have a particular vocation for that (which I don't have either). (aw how I like those emoticons... especially the first, I'll use it at the slightest opportunity) |
