OMFG! Rude hail in Simferopol leaves bruises on people

I alsmost thought it was Aprils Fools Day! But its true. The hail happenned today in Ukrainian city of Simferopol (Crimea).

News agencies report broken windows, damaged cars and even people with bruises.

They also say people were covering their cars with blankets and pillows to protect them.

The hail was accompanied by pouring rain that lasted for about 20 minutes. As the result, the city is pretty much flooded.

The next image shows the size of the hail stones relatve to other objects. Of course, not all the drops were that big, but some were.

Funny how just yesterday I decided to write a few words about the nice weather we're enjoying ih Kiev.

Well, the weather here is still hot and dry as before. Hope we're not getting such hails this summer. Because then we'd have to completely review our umbrellas design. Start making them out of ... bulletproof glass!
