Interesting movie list. You should do a favorite book list as well.

These are some of my favorite films:
Control with Willem Dufoe Ray Liotta and Michelle Rodrigez [about pharmacutical corruption] The vanishing with Jeff Bridges and Kiefer Sutherland Ed gein can't remember the actors The Runnaways about Joan Jets early band life Scum is a classic about a british boarstal with Ray Winstone. The Doors about the band the singer Jim Morrison was totally childfree! Out of your list i have seen some and favoured Limitless it was funny but i am dead against animal testing and have only known one pharmaceutical product to work in my life I'm not really smiling on facebook ect Because i lost quite a few teeth on a fruitarian diet which often happens and now as a vegan i always take a multivitamin and multimineral. So i can't really get a girlfriend but you're my dream come true!We are not total twins but share some fundemental beliefs so i hope i get a reply that would make my day! Have you been on the wrong side of evil because you posted hostility to childfree +thinking of submitting a hateful comment?; i have. I can see that your getting a lot of hits so i better not get in your face any more 4 now! From Charles |

Charles, I appreciate the comments but I had to edit yours because you have mentioned a lot of things that have no relation to the topic of this post. You're free to elaborate on the 'vegan' subject where u've commented on my blog previously. Id also appreciate you writing in small caps and not listing all the domains you have. Recommending a link with a description that refers to the topic of my post is all right. Simply listing your sites - isn't. Hope you understand. I can see we share some similar views, but lets not discuss them all in the same thread?))) I express a lot of unpopular or at least controversial views, so a good portion of people can be motivated to leave hateful comments. I have only gotten one so far, though. But that can be partly due to the fact that the site isn't getting too many hits just yet. |

Hi Irina
Maybe you find something of value for you in these films, maybe not. Le RГ©vГ©lateur (1968), by Philippe Garrel, very experimental in form, non-narrative highly symbolic movie about a broken family and marriage, traumatic childhood experiences, one of a kind, not "easy" to watch depending on your viewing habits, the original is mute (this version on youtube has sound added chosen by its uploader): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXGG44Y7m6w I knew her well (1965), by Antonio Pietrangeli, a film about a wonderful young woman with a good heart and soul exploring, living, trusting, searching in a world that's just...well.. the way it is. You can turn on english subtitles on this version on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVkGVdG8Ktk The man who sleeps (1974), by Bernard Queysanne, belongs to the best films dealing with depression I have seen. A student decides to turn his back on society, cut all ties, only live alone in his small apartment, going for walks...Not a film for entertainment, it goes deep, the content perfectly delivered through its form. Youtube version has english subtitles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TNurvWW4_0 Everything will be ok (2006),by Don Hertzfeldt, a animated short, at first glance simple, then funny, then more and more revealing what a work of genius it is. Creative, unpredictable, profound, hilarious, sad, very human. The first story of a trilogy in the life of its character Bill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IUX0Qy-IDM ... By the way, I read in one of your blog entries you liked scary movies. You probably know Dario Argento. If not, he might be someone whose films are to your liking. Dario can be quite a sadistic fella but his work is the opposite of "torture porn", he is an artist, at least he was back in the days. If you like occupying yourself psychology he is interesting in that aspect as well, lots of repressed sexuality, many layers, symbolic, really scary, atmospheric, colorful, great music...Here a trailer of his 1977 movie Suspiria (it is said to have been an influence on Blackswan but I have not seen Aronofsky's film yet : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MecSlkWMHPY Best regards from Switzerland Johannes |
