Japanese nuke plant (in Fukushima). Another nuclear disaster?
Humanity does not learn fast enough from its mistakes. And those of us who are learning faster become hostages to the rest of more wicked 'know-it-all' fellows. Those, who have no problem putting other peoples lives at risk and saying with total confidence that nothing could ever happen. Deepwater oil rigs hardly ever explode, and nuclear energy is one of the safest... Oh and the Earth is flat.
Reminds me of the situation of being a part of a mafia family. You may not like what your relatives do, and you may be trying to convince them to stop with the crimes and violence, but they never listen. And then one day another mafia gang comes and shoots you and all of your family. Didn't matter if you yourself never hurt a fly, you were unlucky enough to be born to the family of violent idiots.
But the thing is, if this incident will not hit us hard enough (by some standards), in a relatively short while you'll see the whole army of nuclear energy apologists arguing we can never do without it and that everyone opposing it is a nutcase.
