Here are some funny intellectual humor pics I've saved over the last few days. A couple related to the free will / determinism debate:
And the ones dedicated to the numerous nature worshippers.
Another humorous thing, is that over the last couple of weeks I've noticed a spike of interest in my body. Somebody was actually searching the internet for "irina uriupina nude". Seriously? Am I some celebrity now? LOL. And then another person (not the same according to ip address) offered me money for sending him nude pictures of myself. Hahaha, I guess I should make tons of nude pic of myself and stash them somewhere as an insurance, so if I'm really desperate one day I can sell them and pay the rent. Good idea, right? Maybe when I'm an old grandma I'll open an erotic website with payed membership featuring the long expired assets of my youth

I've never actually seen Dilbert, all I know is this image circulating the internet. Probably should look into it then. Never heard of 'Life in hell' either. I love Futurama, The Simpsons for me is about 70% as funny and pleasant as Futurama. Have you seen this scene from Utopia? I hae now. Did you say you saw my comment on it? Because that would probably mean I have a clone out there somewhere))) Geat scene. There's this campaign going on for vasectomy promotion, I've been asked to share, btw https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/world-vasectomy-day-2015 A little more mature, not glam, just a pleasant looking woman with a high intelligence and deep heart. Thanks. I won't judge, life is hard, and I already know your views on the matter, but maybe it is an exchange entered into with wide eyes and good intent. My views on that are rather practical. I've lived that which people like to call 'in love' thing, and while I still do get somewhat attached to mere mortals even if they're not super intelligent pessimistic philosophers, it's unlikely for me to just fall head over heels any more as I know both myself and other people better and do not idealize any more. But doesn't mean I can't imagine co-habitating with somebody (as long as I'm left alone, lol). Not exactly, but enough alone time for me is quite vital. I almost get some physical symptoms when I'm constantly in the presence of somebody else, I think t worsened with time. I'm a crazy cat lady without a cat hahaha. Because it's hard to be renting apartments with cats. But I did feed two strays today btw. So I partially qualify, as a crazy stray cat lady))) |

As we're discussing humorous pictures, I've got to ask you if you received my email from a few days ago entitled 'You May Fool Others But You Don't Fool Me'? If you did and didn't think it funny enough to warrant sending a response then this is your unlucky day for here's the creative masterpiece from it once again
For those scratching their heads, check out Rina's Facebook page, come back here and chortle like a musketeer. P.S. Unlike Mr Busted, aka Kirk, I only like you covered up: http://uriupina.com/img/480/not-raslly-muslim-woman4112011um.jpg ) |

You know about the cat virus, right? Toxoplasma Gondii Yeah. But then, Id be completely nuts by now, all my childhood I've lived with cats, once - 7 at a time. Also, taxoplasmosis can cause miscarriages in women, Good stuff. Not that I'd want to even get pregnant ever)) "Why was I born a father?" Lol))) Also, when he says 'I have 3 children and 0 money. Why can't Ihave 3 money and 0 children' or something like this)) I've found Dilbert though. Cool. Only his tie and eyeless glasses kind of irritate me, but life is a disappointment all around anyway))) |

@Irina Not sure why links to images don't work, clue me in on how to post an image, I'm a dufus...

Because to link an image you have to specify its direct address, not the address of the page that contains that pic. That's why I edited Dick's comment yesterday, correcting that url he gave. Images url is what you can find if you right-click and 'Copy image URL'. My comments parser requires you to put image url in the pop-up which appears after clicking the 3rd icon from the right (photo icon). What it does is wrapps the image's URL in the [img] tags. Btw, Google images prevents people from hotlinking its search results like that. You must first click on the image in the search, click on 'view image' and then you will be given its direct address, I can see you meant to paste this https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/73/4b/15/734b153e6b24f52f54a5670be379bfc1.jpg so |

@El CapitГЎn,

I had a professionally curious interest in the photos LOL! Sure you did. I'm willing to bet certain parts of your anatomy were more professionally curious than others. I'm teasing you, so no getting mad. There's no shame in it. On top of every other quality she has, Irina is annoyingly hot and she knows it too. I say 'annoyingly', because if she looked like a big mound of walking mashed potatoes then it is doubtful that you and every other male with a pulse would be wanting a piece of her. But then again, neither would I! God, I hate life. quote:
I probably do have a long distance crush on her mind, so maybe we can have joint custody. Fine, we'll share. You get custody of her mind and I'll make do with the rest of her. Ha ha ha. Ok, enough of this talk. We'll be creeping her out and pissing off all the other blog readers. I promise to be good from this moment on... well, at least for a few minutes anyway. quote:
Not sure why links to images don't work, clue me in on how to post an image, I'm a dufus I won't argue about your dufusness (or is it dufushood?), but (for once) you cannot be blamed. I experienced the same problem last night when trying to post my sticky-out tongues pic. I'm guessing our lady blog boss worked some crazy magic in order to sort it. @theMeme, I remember that episode! I can't find any streaming versions online except this one in Russian, which makes it even more hilariously surreal: http://dailytv.ru/video/9yvi61jxh5kc |

@Ladrillo I've had my small fill of attractive woman over time, models, athletes, model-athletes, professionals, exotic racial mixes but usually within two minutes I could gauge the intelligence/compassion component and selfish/world view ratio and though some were pleasant and even very intelligent, few could kick it up into high gear and really care about truth, love, and existence, not just give pat answers, lip service, repeated hypocritical religious doctrine of various ilk, or unsupportable and poorly thought out life views. "Don't you want a baby boy?" still sticks in my head, as I waited for the hammer to fall despite all effort to the contrary, which, thankfully, it didn't.
@Irina quote:
it's unlikely for me to just fall head over heels any more as I know both myself and other people better and do not idealize any more I guess I never have idealized too much, including people, in life. But I laughed when I thought of you, declared pessimistic, atheistic, and anti-natalistic woman, say she isn't as optimistic as she used to be! There is a Yogi Berra quote: "The future isn't what it used to be." Ha! Groening's series was Life in Hell, Work is Hell, School is Hell, and Love is Hell. I have originals from 1977 and on, I am not too sure how available his cartoons are on the 'net. Maybe ones from the 80s and later. I am pretty sure you would enjoy, them. The 9 types of bosses, the 9 types of boyfriends, how to stay awake for 8 hours and not lose your job, etc. The young rabbit with one ear is obviously his first pass at Bart, and the adult rabbits the trials for Homer and Marge. OK, I am trying the URL box using the only option on the speed menu that seems close to what you said, being Image Address on my Mac. If this worked, you get a fuzzy picture I found on the internet of my third grade class, amazingly. I remember the day well, my mom insisted I dress up a bit, and so I am in my cowboy shirt and western tie, in the middlish row all the way to the right. Already I was skeptical of the whole life thing, with this just being one more contrived event to show everyone how wonderful life was. The girl to my right was my equally unconvinced friend from a class of gifted and talented students (though they we were only called accelerated back then.) You can tell our expressions are not like the happy boys and girls in the rest of the class, oblivious to the blows soon to befall them. If this URL doesn't work, then I need more help, Irina! I guess I never have idealized too much, including people, in life. But I laughed when I thought of you, declared pessimistic, atheistic, and anti-natalistic woman, say she isn't as optimistic as she used to be! Why, I was always rather optimistic, I still have optimism bias showing up all the time, it's just that I can detect it today. And I was religious at some point. I've tried very hard to excuse this world's injustices and horrors. Only I've failed and decided to stop trying to put a lipstick on a pig. Although I love piggies, I think they're ok without a lipstick.))) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zbsUtQL4nY |

No, because it also expects a common image extension, if the IMG tag doesnt have a .jpg/jpe/jpeg/gif/png extension, the the BBCode doesnt display the image. This is probably an outdated rule having its roots in the 90ies where things were simpler on the web)))) |
Do you know a cartoon called Life in Hell? There was a series, it was basically rabbits, and done by the future creator of the Simpsons, I believe, being his entry into the world of cartooning. There was one scene where the parent rabbit is disciplining the child rabbit for hitting his baby brother by hitting him and declaring, "Don't ever hit someone smaller than you!" Haha!
My only recommendation on the free will debate is to read up a bit, if you haven't yet found a good, serious source, on complexity theory, or how when smaller deterministic elements are brought together something more occurs than just deterministic dominos falling. I am by no means an expert, but combined with many worlds theorem it gives possible paths to explain how free will might be possible, or how complexity can arise from simple and predicable sources.
As I have mentioned before, I am still undecided on the issue, and in the end to me it really doesn't seem to make much difference in whether the path we tread is a choice or merely placed there for us, so to speak, to follow. It is still us, on a path.
Don't take entirely for granted your lucky looks for as long as they last. I know they don't seem to make a difference since you can see yourself everyday and it doesn't make you happy, it is just what you expect to see, regular 'Rina. Hopefully you never experience a disfiguring or scarring incident like a car accident or cancer, then you may understand how even just having a symmetrical face and body would be an amazing thing. I know you understand this, just ribbing you a bit!
I think your idea about gathering what youth you have left in a photoshoot may not be a bad idea (minus the *grandma* bit ), though I am not sure you will gaze at them in the future with despondency, nostalgia, or joy. I only have one old modeling shot, nude from the back, 4% body fat, athletic, jet-black hair, well-muscled, from my 20s left, it isn't always easy to look at when I see the difference some years make, despite efforts to the contrary.
And don't panic, I am probably the one that was interested in your professional images, as you mentioned that you had some satisfactory nude shots from a time ago and had no desire for more, or something to that effect. I did only find two, I think, available to the general public with nominal effort, and pleasant shots, at that. My two favorite shots of you, though, are one where you are smiling (can't remember where it is on your site) and maybe this last one, being the last one, in the apts. post. http://uriupina.com/img/me-casual/dorf2682015ag.jpg A little more mature, not glam, just a pleasant looking woman with a high intelligence and deep heart.
Have you seen this scene from Utopia? I noticed a comment by you on my new-to-subscribe-to AN site/blog/whatever thingy where I found it. If you haven't, it just amazes me that on a commercially produced series a script contains just fundamental and straightforward truth that millions may see and perhaps as young people begin the internal debate on truly what is compassion and good sense. I have very liberal and "caring" friends that still cannot face the truth of AN and would watch this and be very confused, at best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcx-nf3kH_M
Lastly, I have an older friend that I think, due to pics I have seen, *may* have married a Ukrainian woman very recently. It's only speculation at this point, but I can't think of any other reason for him to travel to Ukraine and meet with a family. I won't judge, life is hard, and I already know your views on the matter, but maybe it is an exchange entered into with wide eyes and good intent.
I have noticed more sources of reasonably good AN activity on the 'net, addressing questions of exposure etc. that are heartening to me. As you have said, it can be lonely when you see the truth and cannot easily delude yourself. I went walking at night around a local small lake and saw so many pregnant women pushing prams with that dead look in their eyes, I felt like I was in zombie hell. There is a lot of awareness to be had before their sons or daughters have a chance at actionable AN, IMO. It may come too late to avoid the doubling-time vertical curve of population growth that we are on, too late to "bend the curve" before incredible destruction and suffering rear their ugly heads and human beings continue limping forward, destroying all in their path, creating misery for those that survive.
